“To die will be an awfully big adventure”
~ I’m in the mood to watch Finding Neverland ~
Peter: [as a preface to his play] This is just a bit of silliness, really.
Barrie: I should hope so. Go on.
__________
Barrie: Young boys should never be sent to bed… they always wake up a day older.
__________
Peter: This is absurd. It’s just a dog.
Barrie: Just a dog? *Just*?
[to Porthos]
Barrie: Porthos, don’t listen!
[to Peter]
Barrie: Porthos dreams of being a bear, and you want to shatter those dreams by saying he’s *just* a dog? What a horrible candle-snuffing word. That’s like saying, “He can’t climb that mountain, he’s just a man”, or “That’s not a diamond, it’s just a rock.” Just.
